What is rosin cored solder wire?

1. Rosin cored solder wire. This type of solder wire is made with a rosin flux as core, generally at nominal 2%. And rosin cored solder wire is majorly used for soldering of electronic devices.
2. Acid cored solder wire. This type of solder wire made with an aggressive acid nature flux, it's more used for soldering of metals, such as copper pipes, copper sheets etc, the aggressive cored flux can help to clean the tarnished metal surface and make it clean to be ready for soldering.
