Composition: The asahi cored lead free solder wire is a Pb free solder alloy, consisted of tin, silver, copper at different composition. The most 3 popular types would be the SAC305 asahi cored lead free solder wire , SAC0307 lead free solder wire, SAC07 lead free solder wire. The SAC305 is made of 96.5% tin, 3.0% silver and 0.5% copper; The SAC0307 is made of 99% tin, 0.3% silver and 0.7% copper; While SAC07 is only composed of tin and copper without silver, with 99.3% tin and 0.7% copper respectively.
Core: This asahi cored lead free solder wire is implemented with a rosin flux core, no clean type. It's rosin based flux, that is non aggressive, neutral ingredient which leaves nearly no residue after soldering, thus with this cored lead free solder wire used for electronic soldering.
